Ferheen Siddiqui, Esq.

Principal Attorney

Ferheen Siddiqui, Esq. is the Principal Attorney at Sidd Law pllc. She practices federal immigration law in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, serving individuals and businesses nationwide. Her practice focuses on family sponsored green cards, employment-based petitions, student visas, citizenship and naturalization, waivers to inadmissibility, defenses to removal, and many other matters. She guides her clients through the complicated immigration processes with experience and efficiency, and effectively communicates on their behalf with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), National Visa Center, Department of State, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Department of Justice.

Additionally, Ms. Siddiqui has volunteered as a Pro Bono Attorney at Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition (TASSC International) in Washington D.C. TASSC is a nonprofit organization that works with survivors of torture who have fled to the United States looking to empower themselves and reintegrate themselves into society. She  has successfully helped survivors apply for political asylum with USCIS and won cases for all her TASSC clients both at USCIS and from removal in Immigration Court. She continued to maintain ties with her clients by later helping them achieve other immigration benefits including work authorization, permission to travel, and green cards.

Ms. Siddiqui also has a background in domestic violence survivor support, knowledge and experience that she applies for her immigration clients seeking legal status. Prior to law school she worked at Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) in northern California. She operated the emergency hotline, helping survivors of domestic violence reach safety, counseling, and legal help. Ms. Siddiqui accompanied survivors to Family Court for dissolution/divorce, child custody, and restraining orders. As an immigration attorney she helps survivors of domestic violence take the next step towards legal independence by utilizing the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) to self petition for U-visas, green cards, and removal of conditions.

As a member of the legal profession, she strongly believes in giving back to the community. She holds free immigration presentations in the Bay Area and the Washington DC area to discuss various immigration law topics. It affords individuals the opportunity to learn and ask questions. She also shares her knowledge on immigration topics on IntenseDMV, a weekly podcast.

Ms. Siddiqui is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law (2010) and Santa Clara University (2006). She is a member of the Washington D.C. Bar, California Bar, and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is also a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has also been designated Avvo’s Client’ Choice 2016.
